The crew of The Serpent make their way through space, fighting an interstellar war. Their vessel is crewed by Humans, and a reptilian ally race known as the Dragon-Claw.

The entire war is thrown into deeper chaos when a rogue organization of Humans decide to turn on the Dragon-Claw, and attempt to dominate the galaxy.

Captain Jason Joseph and his bridge crew, fighter pilots, and ground forces are tasked with gathering intelligence on this new uprising and fight back against odds that seem to grow more grim with each encounter.
